• Awarded the Women In Business Achievement Award by the Hampton Roads Business Journal Inside Business (2006).
• Received the National Leadership Award to serve as Honorary Chairman of Virginia for the Business Advisory Council, a private group founded in 1995 for the business community to provide economic and tax reform input to Washington, D.C., political leaders (2005).
• Selected as the J. L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management Schaffner Award recipient for alumna/alumnus distinguished in his or her field and who provided outstanding service to Kellogg Kellogg Business School (1993).

• Appointed as Senior Fellow for Kellogg Innovation Network (KIN) in 2003 and currently serving as a Senior Fellow. The objective of KIN is to create new research and educational experiences to focus the lens of business.
